HOPE'S GARDENS PESTO

Our Start

Leslie Derene Lennox started making pesto in 1999 when her family purchased an old home in Atlanta, Georgia, which had a long forgotten 1,200 square foot greenhouse attached to the home and a 3,000 square foot garden in back. Basil grew prolific and pesto was created soon after being harvested.

The Lore

After being invited to sell hand-crafted greeting cards at a burgeoning farmers market, Leslie and Dave Lennox quickly decided to change their focus to selling freshly harvested produce from their backyard. Read More >

Our Legacy

Customers quickly embraced the fresh lettuce, tomatoes, eggplants and more. Leslie and Dave decided to test the waters with the pesto they were gifting to family and friends. This bet paid off and Hope’s Gardens was off and running.
